Brandon Rogers - out!

It's official - the first American Idol to go from the top twelve is Brandon Rogers. This former backup singer made it all the way to the top twelve, so we'll be seeing him again this summer on the inevitable Idol tour; but I'm not sure how much of a fan base he amassed. I wasn't even sure of his name until last night!

Amazingly, after another lackluster performance, Sanjaya is still with us - but it looks like he's been following my advice regarding hairstyling. Now if he could get that voice back under control and pick better songs, we'd be in business. I don't really expect him to survive more than two or three more rounds though. The obvious top three are going to be Melinda, 'Kiki', and Jordin. This is a girl's year, for sure.
