Tonight's the night...

After all these months of waiting FINALLY American Idol is back. It's been a long and hard wait, but I finally get to laugh at the people who audition with no apparent idea that they have no talent.

Wow that sounded mean spirited. Let me put it this way: I would never audition BECAUSE not only have I watched the show (thereby knowing how merciless these judges are) but ALSO because I am not a professional singer!

Good enough for a friend's wedding? Yup, actually have done several. Good enough to sing as a pop star?

Oh, HELL to the no.

Can't wait to see who makes it and who doesn't. My favorite winner so far? Gotta be Carrie Underwood - I have nothing against Taylor Hicks but I wouldn't buy an album full of Soul Patrol. That's just me though - your mileage may vary.
