Finally saw Spiderman 3...

You know, I actually enjoyed it! It's not nearly as bad as the reviews would have you think - being a marvel girl at heart I'm always up for a little drama and angst, and this movie certainly provides on that score. Watching Peter Parker go all "Saturday Night Fever" was a riot also - but as always, what really made the movie for me were he special effects.

I'd have to say that the best villain award goes to the Sandman. I don't know why, but Venom just didn't appeal to me... and no offense meant, but I never got the "evil" vibe from Topher Grace. He just seemed like your common average jerk. Not "evil". And as for Mary Jane Watson... I really started to get annoyed with her character. The fights were fantastic, and it really sped right by. Didn't hurt that I got to watch it with good friends, either :) We all sat and talked about it afterwards, and decided it was pretty good.

Now I'm all psyched up for the Transformers!

Spiderman, spiderman...

A few facts:
#1 - I was a Marvel geek as a girl. All that angst was just the ticket, and Peter Parker was the KING of angst.
#2 - I was a HUGE fan of the two Spiderman movies, and you know I'm gonna be lined up to see the third one.
#3 - I love video games.

Is it any wonder that I was tickled TO DEATH to be invited to Spidey's Web for their new game, coming out May? SQUEEE!
