Well, the snowstorm has passed. My entire yard is the most peaceful blanket of white... about 12 inches, clean and calm. I don't really mind a nice covering of snow, as long as I don't have to deal with the icy slush that usually goes with it. Yeah, it's cold, but why not appreciate the seasons as they come? Soon enough there are going to be tiny buds popping up all over my yard - crocuses, daffodils, the first of the peonies - but right now I have this gorgeous fir-lined winter vista, and I like it :)
