I had to write about this - if you've been reading the blog a while, you know that I'm an animal lover. (Maybe too much so - I believe my total bill for taking care of little Buster Bunny's tummy now clocks in at $1800. Ouch.)
So it really warmed my heart to see this new e-card service - animated ecards for dog lovers where you choose the doggie and the card type, and a unique e-card is generated for you to send. Sloppy Kiss Cards has a planner where you can schedule all your e-cards in advance, which is always useful. The cost is only $9.95 annually, a portion of which goes to petfinder.com - a foundation dedicated to preventing the euthanasia of lovable pets by promoting adoption. Considering the 'disposable society' in which we live, and the number of abused and abandoned pets at local shelters across the country, I think this is a great way to do something nice for yourself AND support a cause that helps these lovable pets - how can you possibly go wrong?
