Don't you hate it when...

...after all that searching and coupon cutting, you buy that new toy only to have it go on sale the next day? ARG! I bet you didn't know that some companies, like Amazon, actually do offer a 30 day price match guarantee - if the price drops within 30 days of your purchase they will refund you the difference.

The trick is - how do you know if the price drops? You can't just sit hitting the 'refresh' button and watching for a whole month on the off chance that the price will change (can you? I can't!) That's where this ingenious new service comes in. If you're going to make an Amazon purchase, visit Amazing Refund. If you make your Amazon purchase through them, they track the price for you - and if it drops they send you an email with instructions on how to contact Amazon and claim your refund! (Simple, isn't it!) Best of all this service doesn't cost you a thing - so the next time you're about to buy that stereo or other large purchase on Amazon, you might want to give them a try!

PS - They also have a U.K. branch, for our non-U.S. visitors: Amazing Refund UK

Free samples are the best kind!

Did you know that Wal-Mart did free samples? Well they do, and lots of them! I've gotten all sorts of food, health and beauty, and other neat samples. To see what's up today, just surf on over to Wal-Mart Free Samples - it's updated frequently and you never know what will show up. I think that this is what Wal-Mart does with all the freebies they get from their suppliers, and it's really interesting to see what comes up. Another great place to check for free samples is at the GottaDeal.com forums - folks from across the country post messages when they find free deals. I've gotten free books, t-shirts and even a pair of freshwater pearl earrings from places I found on the site, so it's well worth registering with GottaDeal and looking around!

Sunday and the couponing is fine

I love Sundays!I get a nice cup of coffee, curl up with the Sunday paper on the couch, and start clipping coupons. I'm always on the lookout for great deals, percent off offers, and so forth. And after I get the coupons sorted and into my coupon organizer, it's off to the internet for some heavy duty deal-hunting.

Our first Deals and Bargains site today is Wubee. This site lists many of the best deals and coupon codes from top manufacturers (it's always nice to find a site which aggregates this information - I enjoy surfing but that doesn't mean I want to spend hours and hours looking for a good deal!) There's a link at the top of the page for the 'Deal of the Day' which provides a fast link to any outstanding deals, and there are all sorts of ads from stores like Wal-Mart, Overstock and E-Toys - all updated daily. If you're looking for a bargain, make this one of your stops!
