Oh FINALLY...

Well, today I sat out on my porch, had a cold coke, and relaxed in the now-temperate weather. After several false starts, it seems that spring has finally arrived! I've thrown open all the windows, turned off the furnace (hopefully for good this time!) and am basking in the sunlight and the little bits of tiny green leaves that are emerging on my maples.

It's funny how often we all are so busy 'looking forward' or 'looking back' that we don't appreciate what we have right now. Today was in my mind, a perfect day. But I still found myself wondering about tomorrow's weather! Somehow, I have to stop doing that and learn to relish the moment.
