Well this weekend was our first major snowstorm, and as I sit looking out my window my entire yard is buried in almost a foot of snow. And wow, is it gorgeous! It may stick around for Christmas (I sure hope so) since it looks like it's gonna be cold for the next couple weeks. My fella dug out the snow blower and started excavating the driveway, so that we can get out for groceries today. If I was a kid, I'd be begging for a sled, it's absolutely the kind of white, thick frosty day I remember from childhood. And all the cats are hovering at the windows, blinking as they stare into all that whiteness - isn't it great how everything is always fresh and new to animals and children?
